Overview[]
This was the first theatrical trailer supporting Dolby A-type and Dolby SR since the introduction of Dolby Digital.
In response to complaints from exhibitors about loud trailers, this production (along with Canyon and Egypt) was specifically created with a more subtle soundtrack.
Description[]
We see a shot of stairs at ruins of a temple. We then fly through to see a silver Dolby logo on a pedestal. Everything fades out except the logo, which shines.
Trivia[]
- This was also used as a feature presentation bumper for the defunct theater chain Act III Theatres. After the Dolby logo appears, the logo fades out to reveal the Act III Theaters Logo the same design used in the 1992 logo of its parent company, only "THEATRES" replaces "TELEVISION") with "FEATURE PRESENTATION" below it, all also in shiny silver.
- As this was not a Dolby Digital logo, this logo was rarely seen anywhere other than theatrically (which was already on the wayside anyway due to Dolby Digital's success by this point), though at least one DVD release is known to have it.
